Jerome went to the FOB today. He's never told me exactly what FOB stands for, but I'm going to guess and say it's something along the lines of False Operations Base. It's like his final test. They put them in a simulation war zone and make them all do their jobs they were trained to do.
He should graduate a week from Wednesday. ...and hopefully fly home that night.
Then I put in my two weeks notice and we have to be at Ft. Lewis on August 28.
...it's going to be an adventure!
I'm still in Oregon. I like it up here a lot, I hope it's similar in Washington!
